Harouna Dicko has been neutralized and 18 people of his terrorist unit have been captured at Petega. This vigorous action of the national armed forces of Burkina Faso is following an attack perpetrated on a gendarmerie mobile unit at Petega in the extreme north of Burkina Faso. Harouna Dicko is one of the harm of Ansaroul islam of Malam Dicko. Furthermore, this one is connected directly with the public enemy number one of Burkina that is Malam Dicko. Some say he is his in-law and for others Harouna Dicko is one of Malam Brother or cousin. Sweep operation is still going on in this location. And for army any place will be left uncombed. MALAM IBRAHIM DICKO

According to witnesses, many primary school teachers fearing for their lives are running away from the district of DJIBO and the villages around. Trying to escape to the terrorists repeated assaults in this district, they are running to save their lives and families following the repetitive attacks in this region and the assassination of Salif BADINI a primary school headmaster coldly killed by unidentified gunmen in front his pupils during recreation time. Since then, men and women teaching in schools  felt endangered.

MALAM IBRAHIM DICKO

After the threats the terrorist group of Malam Ibrahim Dicko called Ansarul Islam  seems to have started to execute its gloomy purposes. Few weeks ago, many unidentified gunmen probably from Ansarul Islam threatened primary school teachers in many villages of Djibo. They ordered them to teach arabic in school instead of French. And following this situation, the minister of basic education went to galvanize teachers and call them resist and mainly not to panic in this situation. The minister also added that Burkina Faso is a laic country and nobody can change this secularism.  But the tragedy occurred on Friday the 3rd March 2017. Gunmen shot a school teacher in front of the pupils according to witnesses gathered on the ground. After this killing, they did not stop there, they killed another person in the same village. For the time being investigations are carried by the armed forces to find and punish the perpetrators.

Burkina Faso has its Ben Laden, his name is Malam Ibrahim Dicko. He is the one who is terrifying the north of Burkina Faso. Malam Ibrahim Dicko is from this region  and preached a radical islam before fleeing to Mali.  Once there, he created his group  called Ansaroul Islam. Ansaroul Islam claimed many attacks on armed forces positions. The latest one occured during the night of wednesday the 27th to the 28th. Ansaroul Islam attacked and set fire to Tongomayel and Baraboule police stations. Hopefully, none was killed during this countless time attack but a woman was wounded. The terrorists  stole motorcycles, computers and burnt some at those police stations and in their will to defy armed forces the terrorist group Ansaroul Islam signed their name where they perpetrated these attacks. After striking the armed forces position they headed straight to Mali. Army is still patrolling the area to find their position. We still have in memory this deadly attack which killed 12 soldiers at Nassoumbou in the same geographical area. This attack was claimed by Malam Dicko a native of this same area. He wants to install a kingdom of Macina. By these attacks, Malam Dicko declared officially war to his own country. He is now the public enemy number one of Burkina Faso.
